The EMOC project is a collection of 13 buildings that will serve the Department of Transportation’s divisions of Transit Services and Highway Services, the Department of General Services and provide a Day Labor Center. The facilities include administrative buildings; bus parking for 200 buses; bus service lanes; bus wash facility; fare collection area; bus service maintenance bays; parts room; heavy equipment storage shed; soil/gravel storage area; Highway Services bays; compressed natural gas fast-fill, gasoline and diesel fueling stations, and employee and visitor parking.
Renovate and expand the 33,726 gross square foot structure by adding a total of 27,745 gross square feet on the main level along the front, back, and sides and a partial second floor of approximately 7500 gross square feet that will hold the elevator, meeting rooms, mechanical rooms, storage, and a satellite office of the Gilchrist Center.

The new one-story Germantown-Milestone Station 34 will provide direct emergency response services to a 12.7 square-mile area that includes Milestone, Neelsville, Fox Chapel, and Middlebrook, as well as the Ridge Road Recreation Park.

The Germantown Transit Center Improvements project provides a new facility of approximately 180 gross square feet of space to support the requirements of Ride On bus drivers.

This project will provide for the planning, design and construction of  a new North County Depot for the Departments of Transportation and General Services.

This project provides for planning, design and construction of a new 28,294-gross square feet 6th District Police Station and a new parking garage to serve Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village and vicinity.

The project provides for a the construction of a new 3 or 4 bay fire and rescue station, the location of which is to be determined. Included in the project is the purchase of associated apparatus including a EMS unit and a fire engine.
The Plum Gar Neighborhood Recreation Center renovation will include space reconfiguration and 14,312 square foot expansion replacing the present modular buildings.
This project provides for a new Fire/Rescue Station in the Clarksburg area and the purchase of associated fire apparatus.  The new facility will be located on a yet-to-be-acquired site in the vicinity of MD 355 (Frederick Road) and Clarksburg Road.
This project provides for the design of a 33,000 net square foot community recreation center and associated site of approximately 17 acres.
The Germantown Indoor Swim Center opened in 2006.  Interior paint on the ceiling of the facility began to fail and flake off from the surface almost immediately and has continued to fall.  The Center will be closed from May 8, 2011 through September 5, 2011 so that the failed paint can be removed, the surfaces properly prepared and a new high performance paint coating can be applied.
