Martin Luther King Day events were a great success at locations all around Montgomery County. Thousands of people participated in various service projects, workshops, poetry and art contests, blood donations, etc. over the MLK weekend. Over 20,000 pounds of food was collected at various Giant locations to support Manna Food Center. It was truly a day that honored King's legacy of tolerance, peace, and equality, by meeting community needs and making the holiday a "Day On, not a Day Off".
