Find out about immediate action needed to support County Executive Isiah Leggett’s package of "Quality of Life" Code Enforcement reforms Upcoming Events at the Center! November 14, 2009 Americas Recycle Day at the Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center and other locations - Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Solid Waste Services is hosting an “America Recycles Day” paper shredding and household good donation event. This year, they are holding four of these events, two on Saturday and two on Sunday. November 17-19, 2009 Federal Jobs Employment Worshop-Join the Road Map to Federal Government Employment workshop to learn how to prepare quality, targeted federal resumes supported by clear knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) statements that showcase accomplishments. Application evaluation and agency follow up procedures are also addressed. Those with no prior federal civil service experience and others seeking competitive civil service positions will benefit from this workshop.
November 21, 2009 Senior Driver Safety Class: Attendees simply attend the one, 4-hour class and they receive their completion certificate! The class registration fees are $12.00 for AARP members and $14.00 for non-AARP members. The instructor will continue to collect the fee on the day of the class.
