THE EASTERN MONTGOMERY REGIONAL SERVICES CENTER is one of five Regional Services Centers (Bethesda-Chevy Chase, Eastern Montgomery County, Mid-County, Silver Spring, and Upcounty) strategically located in various regions of the County to bring County government closer to its residents.
The Center functions as a link to the County Executive's Office. It offers problem-solving assistance to neighborhoods, individuals, businesses, and County agencies. It also coordinates direct service delivery, focusing on the particular needs of each region; and works with a regional Citizens Advisory Board appointed by the County Executive and approved by the County Council.
This is a new facility which also houses a satellite office for Health & Human Services & a County Police sub-station.
EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY AREA BOUNDARIES
The boundaries of the service area include the Master Plan areas of Cloverly, Fairland, and White Oak. The area is roughly bound on the west by the Northwest Branch, on the north by Ednor Road, in the east by the Howard County and Prince George's County lines, and on the south by I-495.
LOCATION
The Center is located at 3300 Briggs Chaney Road, on the corner of Briggs Chaney Road and Robey Road.
From the beltway take exit 31-N Columbia - travel north on Colesville Road (Rte 29). Take the Briggs Chaney Road exit, bear right onto Briggs Chaney Road. Travel 2 blocks and make a left on Robey Road, go 50 feet then turn right into the Center's parking lot. (You can also enter from Gateshead Manor Way.)
HOURS OF OPERATION
The Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
BUS SERVICE
From the Silver Spring Metro, take the bus marked Z-11/Z13 Greencastle-Briggs Chaney or Z6 Tanglewood-West Farm. From the Glenmont Metro Station, take the Ride-On #39 only during rush hour. For further information regarding transportation to our Center please check http://www.wmata.com/

Services and Agencies at the Center
The Eastern Montgomery Regional Services Center functions as a link to the County Executive's Office; coordinates policy making and service delivery that focus on the particular needs of the East County area; and offers problem solving assistance to neighborhoods, individuals, business, and County agencies.
The Center has a Citizens Advisory Board which works with the Center Director to provide the County Executive and the County Council with a balanced assessment of area problems and their potential solutions.
