The Corporate Volunteer Council of Montgomery County (CVC-MC) - www.cvc-mc.org promotes corporate community service by linking the resources and knowledge of business to the needs of non-profit and public agencies serving Montgomery County residents. CVC-MC recognizes unique and successful corporate volunteer programs and encourages other corporate citizens to be involved. |
The CVC-MC is committed to increasing corporate volunteer participation and opportunities among Montgomery County businesses. This mission is accomplished by being a source of information, by conducting monthly educational programs and networking opportunities, and by supporting and recognizing member's efforts.
The CVC-MC sponsors various activities during the year including:
- Monthly Program Meetings providing members and nonmembers with educational seminars and networking opportunities,
- Publication of "A Review of Corporate Community Service and Volunteerism", an annual magazine with widespread distribution which showcases the community service efforts of CVC-MC members,
- Presentation of the annual "CVC-MC Awards for Excellence in Community Service", presented to CVC-MC members in recognition of outstanding corporate citizenship,
- and much more!
