MCVC Orientation for Organizations
Attend one of our monthly orientations that addresses registration procedures and benefits to member organizations. This is for new organizations and new staff with existing organizations.
Organizations pre-approved for student service learning (SSL) must attend an orientation every three years.
During the first hour of the orientation an overview of the programs and services of the Montgomery County Volunteer Center is given. All organizations registering with the Volunteer Center, including those that are seeking pre-approval for SSL must attend.
The second hour focuses specifically on the Montgomery County Public Schools SSL progam. Any organization interested in awarding SSL hours for student participation must attend the second hour.
