Credit Reports/Scores
Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) maintain a report, or file, of your credit payment history. If you have ever applied for a credit or charge account, a personal loan, insurance, or a job, you have a credit report on file. Your credit report contains information about your income, debts, and credit payment history. It also indicates if you have been sued or have filed for bankruptcy. It is important to maintain a good credit history in order to have good credit and be successful borrowing money and buying a home.
