Cover Letter for Application for Certificate of Registration for Radio, Television, and Electrical Appliance Installation and Repair:

Dear Applicant:

One requirement of the Montgomery County Radio, Television, and Electrical Appliance Installation and Repair Act (copy enclosed), is that businesses engaged in radio, television, electrical appliances installation and repair must be licensed by the Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection.

If you are engaged in the business of radio, television, and electrical appliances installation and repairs without a license from this Office, you will be in violation of Chapter 38A of the Montgomery County Code.  Each violation is subject to a $500.00 civil citation.  Therefore, I am also enclosing a license application and supporting documents for the required license.
