Terrorism

An act of terrorism can include bombings, kidnappings, cyber attacks, and the use of chemical or biological weapons. Targets can include government institutions, corporate center, or civilian infrastructure.

If a terrorist attack occurs, it is vital to follow instructions of local law enforcement or government officials.

Keep the following tips in mind:

  • Always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Know where exits and emergency exits are in buildings
  • When traveling, report any suspicious packages or behavior to local law enforcement
  • Check your emergency kit regularly. Be prepared to do without electricity, phone, and internet.
