Just as it’s important for your family and community to prepare for emergencies, it is vital to take steps to prepare your business. Your business plan should include the following:
- An assessment of how specific hazards might affect your business
- A list of essential functions that must be maintained during and following an emergency
- A list of essential employees and partners that are necessary to maintain business operations in the short-term following an emergency
- Instructions for employess on how to both evacuate the building or shelter in place
