How can I get more involved in my community?
Board, Committee, and Commission Opportunities: Visit our Ongoing Opportunities page to find out how you can get involved by volunteering, serving on one of the County’s numerous boards, committees, and commissions, or serving on a Community Partnerships' committee.
Volunteer Opportunities: The Volunteer Center has hundreds of opportunities available to people who want shortor or long-term ways to serve their community
Community Partnerships works closely with community leaders to find out how the County can better serve its residents—no matter what their ethnic, cultural, or income background is.
Contact us to discuss a specific need in your community. If you are interested in a long-term commitment to working with the County on this issue, you may want to become involved in a Community Partnerships' committee to find ways of reaching out to communities and individuals in need of County support.
How does Community Partnerships work with community groups on events and celebrations?
Community Partnerships has worked with many community groups and leaders on many events.
