MONTGOMERY COUNTY:

There are approximately 850,000 residents in Montgomery County as compared to 650,000 in Prince Georges and 600,000 in Washington DC. Montgomery County has 31% more vehicles registered than the other two jurisdictions. Despite this, Montgomery County experiences one third the auto theft rate of Prince Georges County and Washington DC.
