ARMED ROBBERY 

            -On 04-22-04, at noon, the Wachovia Bank, located at 8701 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring, was robbed. A lone suspect (B/M, 40, 6’0”, 150 lbs., slight mustache, light blue T-shirt) entered the bank and waited in line. When he approached the teller he opened a plastic bag and demanded money. The teller filled the bag with cash and coins. The suspect implied a gun in his waistband. He left the bank and walked in front of the bank where the dye pack exploded. He was last seen entering an adjacent parking garage. -Previous Press Release Issued-

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT/ARREST 

            -On 04-24-04, Andre Boyd age 19, of Hyattsville and Kiwan M. Lincoln age 21, of Washington, D.C. were arrested and charged with 1^st degree assault. The arrests were a result of a fight outside a restaurant on Gaither Rd. in Gaithersburg where the defendants were part of a group that beat and stabbed a victim.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 

            -11200 block of Potomac Oaks Dr. in Potomac, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on 04-21-04. Climbed through basement window, computers taken.

            -10500 block of MacArthur Blvd. in Potomac, between 6:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. on 04-19-04. Kicked in front door, cash taken.

            -16100 block of Crabbs Branch Way in Derwood, between 7:10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on 04-23-04. Pried window open, attempt only, nothing taken.

2^ND DISTRICT 

COMMERCIAL  BURGLARY 

            -MARCELLA’S ITALIAN PIZZERIA 8540 Connecticut Ave in Chevy Chase, between 9:00 p.m. on 04-24-04 and 6:55 a.m. on 04-26-04. Broke front window, took currency and cash register. 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 

            -3800 block of Wexford Dr. in Kensington, between 7:30 a.m. and 7:02 p.m. on 04-20-04. Climbed through side window, camera, liquor taken.

3^RD DISTRICT 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 

            -ROLLING TERRACE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 705 Bayfield Street in Takoma Park, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on 04-25-04. Broke through window and door, took stuffed animal. 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 

            -11800 block of Eden Rd. in Silver Spring, between 7:35 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. on 04-22-04. Attempt to open basement window, nothing taken.

            -12800 block of Big Horn Dr. in Silver Spring, at 3:11 a.m. on 04-22-04. Broke glass, no entry.

            -8700 block of Eastern Avenue in Silver Spring, between 4:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. on 04-22-04. Entered front door, clothing, DVD player, and CD’s taken.

4^TH DISTRICT 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 

            -WHEATON HIGH SCHOOL, 12601 Dalewood Dr. between 4:00 p.m. on 04-23-04 and 11:30 a.m. on 04-24-04. Climbed through rear window, nothing taken.

            -CYCLES USA, 14021 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring, between 3:50 a.m. and 3:54 a.m. on 04-20-04. Broke though side door, nothing taken. 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 

            -3100 block of Dawson Ave. in Silver Spring, between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on 04-19-04. Climbed through rear window, Playstation, games taken.

6^TH DISTRICT 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 

            -12300 BLOCK OF Pueblo Dr. in Gaithersburg, between 6:00 p.m. on 04-19-04 and 8:00 a.m. on 04-22-04. Pried frame, no entry.

            -100 block of E. Deer Park Dr. in Gaithersburg, between 12:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on 04-24-04. Climbed through front window, purse, cell phone, diaper bag, palm pilot taken.

            -600 block of Coral Reef Dr. in Gaithersburg, between 12:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on 04-25-04. Cut through front window, nothing taken.
