ARMED ROBBERY 

            -On 05-02-04, at 12:24 a.m., an employee for Pizza Hut, 18509 Woodfield Road in Gaithersburg, was the victim of an armed robbery in the 17600 block Shady Spring Terrace in Gaithersburg.  As the victim was attempting to make a delivery, four suspects approach him.  One suspect started to pull money out of his pocket, when another suspect struck the victim from behind, knocking him to the ground.  The suspects were last seen running towards Washington Grove Road and Midcounty Highway.  The suspects were described as black males.  One suspect was 6’ in height with a slender build, two were approximately 5’6” in height, and the fourth was approximately 5’6” and described as heavyset.  ***A press release was written on the incident.***

STRONG ARM ROBBERY 

            -On 04-28-04, at 5:20 p.m., a 42-year-old Silver Spring man was the victim of a strong-armed robbery in the parking garage in the 11000 block of Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton.  Three suspects approached the victim from behind.  One suspect grabbed the victim and threw him to the ground and demanded money.  The remaining suspects stood and watched. The victim complied.  The suspects were last seen running towards the Metro station.  The suspects were described as black males, 20-29 years, 5’11”, wearing dark clothing.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ARREST 

           -On 04-27-04, Matthew Marney,  age 51, of the 4000 block of Wexford Dr. in Kensington, was arrested and charged with First-degree Assault, Second-degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Destruction of Property, and Resisting Arrest. The arrest was the result of an incident in the 4000 block of Wexford Drive. 

            -On 05-02-04, James Davis, age 37, of the 8300 block of Amity Circle in Gaithersburg, was arrested and charged with First-degree Assault and Violating a Protection Order.  The arrest was the result of an incident in the 8300 block of Amity Circle. 

            -On 04-24-04, Tony Copeland, age 36, of the 9300 block of Chadburn Place in Montgomery Village was arrested and charged with First-degree Assault, Second-degree Assault, Concealed Deadly Weapon, and Theft Under $500.  The arrest was the result of an incident at Famous Footwear store, 18226 Contour Road in Gaithersburg.

BURGLARY ARREST 

            -On 04-24-04, Rodney Golden, age 39, of the 11400 block of Homestead Drive in Upper Marlboro, was arrested and charged with Third-degree Burglary, Fourth-degree Burglary, and Destruction of Property.  The arrest was the result of an incident in the 8000 block of Eastern Avenue in Silver Spring. 

            -On 04-22-04, Richard McCoy, age 36, of the 9800 block of Good Luck Rd. in Lanham, was arrested and charged Fourth-degree Burglary and Trespassing-Peeping Tom.  The arrest was the result of an incident in the 8900 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring. 

            -On 04-26-04, Robert Cole, age 19, of no current fixed address, was arrested and charged with Fourth-degree Burglary and Destruction of Property.  The arrest was the result of an incident in the unit block of School Drive in Gaithersburg. 

            -On 04-30-04, Arthur Clipper, age 55, of no current fixed address, was arrested and charged with Fourth-degree Burglary, False Imprisonment, Disorderly Intoxication, and Trespassing.  The arrest was the result of an incident in the 800 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard in Gaithersburg. 

            -On 05-02-04, Dong Park, age 23, of the 2300 block of Shoresands Court in Virginia Beach, Virginia, was arrested and charged with First-degree Burglary and Second-degree Assault. The arrest was the result of an incident in the unit block of Fairland Park Court in Silver Spring. 

            -On 05-02-04, Keith Buchholz, age 37, of no current fixed address was arrested and charged with Fourth-degree Burglary. The arrest was the result of an incident in the 9800 block of McMillan Avenue in Silver Spring.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 

            -6600 block of Tusculum Rd., Bethesda, between an unknown date and time in March 2004 and 12:30 p.m. on 04-28-04.  Attempt only, pried door.

            -4000 block of Lawrence Ave., Kensington, between 9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. on 04-27-04.  Forced door, unknown what was taken.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 

            -8900 block of Piney Branch Rd., Silver Spring, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on 04-22-04. Forced front door, Playstation and games, Xbox and games, and money taken

            -2700 block of Hunters Gate Terrace, Silver Spring, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on 04-26-04. Broke through door, jewelry, liquor, video recorder, and money taken.

            -11300 block of Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, at 12:58 a.m. on 05-01-04.  Entered home, unknown what was taken.

            -600 block of Dale Dr., Silver Spring, between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. on 04-19-04.  Pried lock on door, unknown what was taken.

            -11400 block of Cherry Hill Rd., Beltsville, between 9:00 a.m. on 01-10-04 and 9:21 p.m. on 04-30-04.  Cut lock on door, camera equipment, lights, and cords taken.

            -10500 block of Pennydog Lane, Silver Spring, between an unknown time and 10:05 p.m. on 04-28-04.
