STRONG ARM ROBBERY
-On 05-15-04, at 10:30 p.m., a 22-year-old Silver
Spring man was walking on Barron St. near Domer Ave., in Silver
Spring, when he was approached by four suspects. One of the suspects
punched the victim in the face while the other suspects removed
property from the victim. The suspects were described only as black
males. They were last seen running on Barron Street.
-On 05-16-04, at 10:00 p.m., a
30-year-old Silver Spring woman was the victim of a strong-arm
robbery in the unit block of Avonshire Court in Silver Spring. The
suspect grabbed her hair and threatened her. The victim hit the
suspect with a brick and was able to break free. The suspect was
described as a black male, 6’0” to 6’2”, heavy build, beard and
mustache. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
-On 05-13-04, at 1:30 p.m., a 29-year-old Leesburg,
Va. woman was the victim of a strong-arm robbery in 5100 block of
Nicholson Lane in Rockville. The suspect jumped on the victim and
attempted to take her purse. The suspect was able to gain control
of the purse and was last seen running towards Rockville Pike. The
suspect was described as a black male, 20-29 years, 5’8” to 6’1”,
180-200 pounds, wearing a black short sleeve shirt.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
-On 05-16-04, at 10:05 a.m., a
39-year-old Silver Spring woman was walking on Fenton Street near
Ellsworth Drive, in Silver Spring, when a suspect struck her in the
face. The suspect was described as a black male, 25-30 years, 5’11”
to 6’1”, 170-180 pounds, wearing a short sleeve shirt and dark
pants. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with
non-life-threatening injuries.
AGGRAVATED
ASSAULT/ARREST
-On 05-14-04, Ramgopaul Singh, age 25, of
the 1100 block of Fidler Lane, in Silver Spring, was arrested and
charged with First-degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and
Disorderly Intoxication. The arrest was a result of an incident in
the 8600 block of Fenton St. in Silver Spring.
-On 05-10-04, Arezo Zakikhan, age 22, of
the 10400 block of Nolan Dr., in Rockville, was arrested and charged
with First-degree Assault and Second-degree Assault. The arrest was
the result of an incident in the 10400 block of Nolan Drive.
BURGLARY ARREST
-On 05-14-04, Omar Harris, age 22, of the
6700 block of Capital Heights, Maryland, was arrested and charged
with Fourth-Degree Burglary. The arrest was the result of an
incident in the 13600 block of Colgate Way in Silver Spring.
-On 05-14-04, William Mercado-Miranda,
age 23, of the 3600 block of Pear Tree Ct., in Silver Spring was
arrested and charged with Fourth-degree Burglary and Possession of
Cocaine. The arrest was the result of an incident in the 2900 block
of Lisage Way in Silver Spring.
-On 05-15-04, Daniel Reyes, age 25, of
the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Rd., in Germantown, was arrested
and charged with Fourth-degree Burglary and Destruction of Property.

garage, golf clubs taken.
-1800 block of E. Jefferson St.,
Rockville, between 12:00 a.m. on 03-22-04 and 12:00 p.m. on
03-28-04. Entered home, money taken.
