RECENT CRIME SUMMARY

June 15, 2006

ARMED ROBBERY

            -On 06-05-06, at 10:35 p.m., the McDonald’s Restaurant, located at 2740 University Blvd. W. in Wheaton was the scene of an attempted robbery. A suspect entered the store and ask for free food. He was refused. Later, he returned with a gun and demanded money. Again, the victim refused. The suspect fled out the door toward University Boulevard.
            -Suspect #1 – W/M, 5’5”-5’8”, 140-150 lbs., goatee, white hooded jacket, white shirt. 

            -On 06-06-06, at 10:50 p.m., the Excel Gas Station, located at 13455 New Hampshire Ave. in Silver Spring was robbed. A lone suspect entered the station and displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register. One of the clerks handed over the entire register drawer. The suspect then fled out the store on foot.
            -Suspect #1 – black mask, yellow jacket with hood, black pants and gloves.
