Lieutenant Zane George

Lieutenant Zane George is a 20-year veteran of the Montgomery County Police Department.  

Lieutenant George is a graduate of Penn State University and began his career as a patrol officer in the Germantown District in 1986.  In 1991, he was promoted to Corporal and served in the Wheaton District.  In 1992, he was promoted to Sergeant and transferred to the Rockville District.  He remained a patrol supervisor until his promotion to Lieutenant in 2004.  He was then assigned as a Deputy Commander in the Silver Spring District and has just recently has been assigned as a Deputy Commander at the 1st District Station.
