Lieutenant Dinesh Patil

     Lt. Dinesh Patil joined the department in 1994 and was assigned to the 3rd District.  From 1994 to 2004, Lt. Patil served in patrol, the Central Business District (CBD) unit and then the Special Assignment Team.  In 2004, Lt. Patil was promoted to Sergeant and transferred to the 4th District.  He returned to the 3rd District in 2005 and served as the Sergeant of the Special Assignment Team.  In 2008, Lt. Patil was promoted to Lieutenant and worked in the Management Services Bureau.  He joined the Special Investigations Division in August of 2010. 

Lt. Patil earned a Bachelors of Science in Management from the University of Maryland.
