Lieutenant Jacques H. Croom, Jr.
Jacques H. Croom, Jr., joined the Montgomery County Police Department in September of 1985. Through his career, he has worked in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th district stations, the Special Operations Division, and the Special Investigations Division. He has served as a Field Training Officer, Special Assignment Team officer, supervisor of the Honor Guard, advisor to the Explorer and Law Enforcement Apprentice Programs, supervisor of the Alcohol Initiatives Unit, Duty Commander, and is currently assigned as the Deputy Commander of the First District.
Lieutenant Croom studied Engineering Physics at Colorado State University and graduated from the University of Maryland. His outside interests include coaching football at the Olney Boys and Girls club and President of the Sequoyah Elementary School PTA.
