Lieutenant Michael Price was born in Washington, D.C. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1982 with a double major in Sociology and Law Enforcement. After graduating from the Training Academy in September of 1983, he was assigned to the 3rd District. Lt. Price was a Special Agent for the Naval Investigative Service between 1984 and 1986. He returned to county service in 1986 and was assigned to the 3rd District. He completed assignments in the Narcotics Section and the 3rd District Investigations Section. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1996 and transferred to the 5th District. He returned to the 3rd District in 1998, and was assigned to the Briggs Chaney Sub-Station in 1999. He coordinated efforts with other county agencies to build the sub-station housed in the East County Regional Services Center . Lt. Price received the community policing of the year award for 1999.
He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2002, and is currently assigned to the 2nd District. In August of 2010, Lt. Price was transferred to the 3rd District. |
