ALL OTHER POLICE REPORTS
(e.g.: burglaries, thefts, assaults, etc.)
Must be obtained through the Information Support and Analysis Division located at Police Headquarters - 2350 Research Boulevard, Rockville, MD 20850 Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (240-773-5330)
BE ADVISED! TO OBTAIN REPORTS FROM POLICE HEADQUARTERS, YOU MUST:
- Submit a request form at Headquarters either in-person, or via mail by sending the request form along with a self-addressed stamped envelope and a check or money order for $10 (made payable to Montgomery County Police). If mailing the request, mail to “Montgomery County Police Headquarters, ISAD” at the above listed address. The request form to be submitted in-person or via mail can be printed out by clicking here.
- Understand that ISAD staff will be working diligently and efficiently to process your request. However, any information omitted from your request form may prolong the process. Therefore, be sure to fill out each applicable field to the best of your knowledge. The best way to ensure that we provide the correct report is to KNOW YOUR CASE NUMBER!
- Be aware that not all reports requested in-person can be disseminated immediately. Some reports (depending on the classification, status, and nature of the report) require Supervisory review, which may take 48 hours to complete. ALL reports are subject to being processed after the report is taken, which means your report may not be available until 3-5 days after you reported the incident. You may contact ISAD at 240-773-5330 to determine if your report is ready for pick-up.
Other records/documents in the custody of MCPD may be requested under the Maryland Public Information Act. For more information, click here.
All reports, whether obtained in-person or via mail, cost $10 per report/copy. If submitting a request in person at Headquarters, you may pay using cash, check, money order, Visa, or Mastercard.
Records containing any reference to a juvenile will not be released without a supervisor’s review.
