2008 Annual Report 

     I am proud to join Chief Manger in presenting the Montgomery County Police Department's 2008 Annual Report.  As your County Executive, I have accepted the responsibility for ensuring the safety of our residents and businesses.  Despite our fiscal constraints and the budget shortfalls we are facing, I will continue to make sure that the necessary resources are in place to maintain a strong and vital police force.  Our public safety officials are the keys to providing the safe streets and secure neighborhoods our residents demand.  The dedication and courage of our sworn, non-sworn, and volunteer members of the Police Department are second to none.

     I salute these professionals for their efforts everyday on behalf of all the residents of Montgomery County.
