Officers from the 3rd District are investigating the thefts of cash and personal items from a vehicle that occurred overnight from June 21 into June 22, 2009, in Silver Spring. Officers have now obtained surveillance photos of the suspects believed to be involved in these thefts.
On Sunday, June 21, at 10:30 p.m., the female victim parked her vehicle in the 10400 block of Burnt Ember Drive in Silver Spring. The victim notified police of the theft the following morning when she discovered that her passenger-side front window was broken and realized that the above referenced items were missing. This incident is believed to be connected to multiple thefts from vehicles in the 10300 block of Naglee Road and Cresthaven Drive in Silver Spring, which occurred on the same night.
Officers have obtained surveillance photographs of three individuals who used the victim’s stolen credit card. The first male suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, medium build, with dark hair. He is seen in the photograph wearing a black button-down shirt, black pants and carrying a black bag over his shoulder. The second male suspect is described as a white male with a dark complexion, 30 to 35 years old, with a thin build, and dark hair. He is seen in the photograph wearing a white button-down long sleeve shirt and black pants. The third suspect is a white female, 30 to 35 years old, with a medium build, and brown hair that is longer than shoulder-length. She is seen in the photograph wearing a white sleeveless button-down shirt and white pants.
