Youth Advisory Committee

Teens don’t have to just sit back and watch. Now is the time to be a part of the action.

Youth Advisory Committee is your chance to impact your community and make change. The County Executive and County Council need to know how their decisions can impact Montgomery County youth, and the YAC helps them to understand.

YAC members also get to plan fun, original teen events that you and your friends can enjoy. You can also have a hand in making your community a better place, by planning and participating in service projects.

YAC is no joke – it’s a commitment. But the rewards are amazing. Meet new people, create an awesome event or project with your team, and make change in your community. You will also earn student service learning credits for school and you’ll be growing your leadership skills all along. Does this sound like something you’re into? If so, Apply Today!
