The East County Community Center is located off of Route 29 and Briggs Chaney Road. Our center is a 23,500 square-foot facility which features a full size gymnasium, social hall, exercise/weight room, game room, community room, art room, conference room, front desk and lobby area. Some rooms are available for rental.

For the sports minded individual, the East County Community Center has a regulation gymnasium, which includes basketball, volleyball and badminton courts and an indoor batting cage. The gymnasium is used for a variety of organized leagues, competitions and instructional programs. The gym is also scheduled for self-directed 'open gym' play. Our exercise/weight room is equipped with a full circuit of self-administered weight machines and exercise bicycles. Person's 16 years or older can purchase an Exercise/Weight Room membership.

A social hall, which can accommodate up 150 to 200 participants, provides space for a variety of social and dance activities. This space is available for private parties with rental fees determined on the type and duration of the event. There is a small warming kitchen adjacent to the social hall. For smaller meetings of groups with 25 or fewer, East County Community Center has a community room and a conference room.

If you want to explore your creative side, an art room equipped with worktables, potters wheels and kilns is scheduled with instructional programs. Looking for a game, you'll find opportunities for table tennis, billiards, and foosball, in addition, we have electronic basketball and air hockey machines among the activities available in the game room.

The East County Community Center is a multi-purpose recreational facility for all ages. Our Center offers activities and experiences, which provide customers with personal enjoyment and satisfaction. We do our best to promote health, physical fitness, learning, growth and opportunities for socialization. Where ever your interest may lie, sports, fitness, dance, music, art or the opportunity to join together with friends and neighbors for a special celebration or social gathering, East County Community Center has something to offer you.
