The Mid-County Community Recreation Center is in its final stages of construction. The center is being built adjacent to Layhill Local Park on Queensguard Road near the intersection of Layhill and Bel-Pre roads. The center will feature; a large gymnasium, computer lab, weight and fitness room, game room, dividable social hall, conference room, lounge, large kitchen and multi-use rooms.
Public use forums will be held in spring 2010. Rental spaces, programs and memberships are expected to be available in summer 2010. If you have specific questions or need more information, please contact the Department of Recreation’s Mid-County office at 240-777-4930. |
