Sandra Aresta
Teaching is her passion and she has been in the education field for over 15 years. Her goal is for children to learn through having a wonderful time and meeting new friends. Classes are geared toward the children's level of learning and understanding. Parents should keep in mind that young children learn through repetition, exploration, with an adult acting as a facilitator. Class activities are intended to keep young minds engaged and enthusiastic about what they are able to achieve in class.
Sandra teaches foreign language and dance becauseof her love of each of these areas.Teaching energizes me! Kids take the class because they are fun andher enthusiasm about the subject. The goal is for children to leave with a sense of having learned something, made some friends, and a feeling of wanting to enroll again because it wasfun.
Sandra earned a BA in Romance Languages and Dance from Mount Holyoke College, a MA from Johns Hopkins University in International Relations and Foreign languages. Previously she had a language and dance school in Bologna Italy where I lived for two years.
