Abigail Dion
Abigail Dion has a strong background in art, including high school and college level classes, as well as private lessons. She majored in Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology. She has worked as an independent contractor for the Montgomery County Recreation Department for over 8 years, starting withclasses for tiny tots—Tiny Hands Crafts—andthenTiny Hands Cooking. Along the way, she added other classes including Family Chefs, Family Pottery, Art Destinations Club, Furniture Painting for adults, and Treasure Hunt for Antiques. The summer program, Art Destinations, has turned out to be very popular with the kids. Abigail employs several instructors.
Miss Renee is the "Cake Lady." She teachesTiny Hands Crafts, Tiny HandsChefs, Family Chef, Cake Decorating,and operates the Art Destination program at DamascusCommunity Center.
Ms. Kim teaches Tiny Hands Crafts and helps out with the Art Destination program at WoodMiddle School. She has worked with children for many years and has even had her own preschool.
Ms. Jean helps with project development, ordering materials and teaches the Art Destination program at Cabin John MS.
Ms. Jody teaches the Tiny Hands Crafts at PotomacCommunity Center and runs the summer Tiny Hands programs.
Ms.Sharon runs the Tiny Hands Crafts program at FairlandCommunity Center.
Ms.Pam helps with logistics and is starting to teach a few classes on her own.
