Valerie Hilton Haber

Valerie was educated as an artist at the University of Michigan School of Architecture and Design, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was awarded a BFA and Teacher Certificate in 1970. Further studies include drawing, painting, photography, art history, and ceramic, sculpture at the Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York, MFA 1988, the Corcoran School, Washington, DC, 1991 and the Vermont Studio School, Johnson, VT

Her philosophy is to help students explore ceramic possibilities and set a studio routine that incorporates new challenges as well as practice in the medium.
