RON WAGAMAN
Ron Wagaman is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in business administration.Ron worked full time for the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and SpaceMuseum in Washington, D.C. from 1976 to 1996, the last position as Assistant Director for Museum Operations and then managed a postproduction film company in Los Angeles for four years.He has been teaching ballroom dancing full-time in the WashingtonDC area since 2000.
Ron has been teaching ballroom dancing for most of his adult life.He worked for Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Baltimore, Maryland and Honolulu, Hawaii for 3 years as a full-time instructor and since then has worked as a part-time instructor for Tom Woll Associates, Arthur Murray, Dance World and Now and Then Dance Studio in the DC area.Ron and his wife Amy have taught classes at the Hollywood Ballroom, Virginia Ballroom, Casey Community Center, Asbury Recreation Center, Glen Echo Park, Holiday Park Senior Center, TECRO Center and for various county recreation centers and have taught dancing on board a variety of cruise lines.Ron and Amy regular perform dance routines for dance events in the WashingtonDC area.Ron is proficient in all styles of ballroom dancing including American Smooth and Rhythm and International Latin and Standard. |
