Wednesday, November 11, 2009: Veterans Day - Normal schedule this week for all County-provided recycling and trash collections.

Celebrate America Recycles Day with us on November 14 + 15, 2009 - paper shredding and clothing/household goods donations at 4 locations!

Effective September 21, 2009, our recycling program expanded to accept additional blue bin and mixed paper items!

Holiday Schedule

Please Note:

If you live in a municipality, your holiday schedule for recycling or trash collection may be different from the County schedule.

Recycling/trash information for municipalities

If your collection is privately contracted, check with your community manager or your hauler to find out how holidays are handled. We do not have information about private collections and their holiday schedules.

  • If your trash is picked up twice per week, your collection is private, and our trash collection announcements do not apply to you.

  • Christmas Day

We do not make County-provided recycling or trash collections on these holidays.

If a holiday falls during the week (Monday – Friday), all collections scheduled on or after the holiday will be made one day later that week. Please remember, all items to be collected must be out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day.
