Thursday, November 26, 2009: Thanksgiving Day - No County-provided recycling or trash collections on November 26; Thursday and Friday collections that week shift by one day. Transfer Station closes at 5 p.m. on November 25; closed November 26.

Effective September 21, 2009, our recycling program expanded to accept additional blue bin and mixed paper items!

Going Green? Start with your recycling program!

Attend Montgomery County’s Multi-Family Recycling Seminar to learn how to make the most of your recycling program, and make it one of the most visible “green” elements at your property. Hear about ways to increase your recycling rate and engage your residents while complying with County recycling regulations.

Seminar topics will include:

  • Details on the County's recent expansion in materials that can be recycled and how it applies to your property
  • Best practices from properties in the County, including strategies to increase resident participation and reduce waste
  • Presentations from multi-family property representatives on recycling program successes and challenges
  • An overview of County recycling regulations
  • Information on how TRRAC services and resources can help enhance your recycling program

Sign language interpreter and other aids willl be provided upon request.

    9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Registration opens at 8:30 AM)
