A Commitment to you!
Montgomery County is committed to providing mobility for seniors and persons with disabilities.
We heard from you and we've made major changes to meet your needs better and make your travel more convenient. All of Ride On's buses are wheelchair accessible. The County's transit system is one of the best in the country. It consists of Ride On, Metrobus, and Metrorail, carrying more than 1.5 million seniors and disabled passengers annually. Through other special programs - Special Transportations (MetroAccess) and Call 'N' Ride - we handle another half million trips annually for seniors and persons with disabilities.

Montgomery County has fully implemented MetroAccess with service hours mirroring those of the transit system, 5:30 a.m. - 12 midnight, Sunday thru Thursday and 5:30AM to 2:00AM on Friday and Saturday.
