Trip Planning Tools

Montgomery County Ride On is pleased to announce the availability of new online trip planning tools. These tools make it easy to plan your trip while at home, work or on the go. Please note that these tools are constantly being improved and may not always provide the best solution for your trip. You may prefer to contact our Transit Information Center at 240-777-7433 for additional assistance.

Google Maps now includes Ride On transit route and schedule information. Use Google maps as you normally would but select 'By Public Transit' to use Ride On for your trip. You can also select a future date and time by clicking the 'Show options' button. Note that Metro service is not currently available on Google Maps so if you think your trip might be better served with service from Metro please try the Metro Trip Planner, or contact our Transit Information Center at 240-777-7433

Google mobile makes trip planning a breeze while you're traveling around town. With your GPS enabled smart phone and Google Maps for Mobile you can get Ride On trip information based on your current location and time.

Metro's Trip Planner provides information on service for the entire Washington metropolitan area including Maryland, DC and Virginia.
