The County Council for Montgomery County, Maryland approves the following Act:

Sec. 1.  The laws of Montgomery County, Maryland, are amended to read as follows:

          Montgomery County, Maryland, is authorized to renovate the Ross Boddy Neighborhood Recreation Center, Project No. 720919, in the Olney & Vicinity planning area.  This authorization includes basic repairs, reconfiguration, expansion, and upgrade of the facility.

Sec. 2.  Expedited Effective Date.

          The Council declares that this legislation is necessary for the immediate protection of the public interest.  This Act takes effect on the date on which it becomes law.
