AN EXPEDITED ACT to authorize the planning, design, and construction of the Public Safety Training Academy Relocation, Project No. 471102 from its current location at the intersection of Great Seneca Highway and Darnestown Road to a site on Snouffer School Road known as the Webb Tract, Gaithersburg Vicinity planning area.

The County Council for Montgomery County, Maryland approves the following Act:
Sec. 1. The laws of Montgomery County, Maryland, are amended to read as follows:
Montgomery County, Maryland, is authorized to plan, design, and construct the Public Safety Training Academy Relocation Project No. 471102 in the Gaithersburg Vicinity planning area. This authorization includes all necessary planning, design, land, site improvements, utilities, and construction.
Sec. 2. Expedited Effective Date.
The Council declares that this legislation is necessary for the immediate protection of the public interest. This Act takes effect on the date on which it becomes law.
