Apply for Homeowners Tax Credit
 

Homeowners with modest income and assets may qualify for a tax credit. Application deadline is October 1, 2022.

• The application process is brief. Homeowners can apply online or submit a paper application that may require submitting supporting information such as your tax return.
• In 2021, qualified Montgomery County homeowners who applied received an average of $1,776 from the state of Maryland.
  • Qualified homeowners age 60+ receive a 50% matching Montgomery County Tax Credit
