Take Control of your Property Tax Bill and Payment

Are you worried about lost mail or post office delays? Online or phone payments can be done from your home.
 

1. Pay by electronic check (with no service fees) on the County’s website at https://apps.montgomerycountymd.gov/realpropertytax/ or by calling 240-777-8898.  If using our online system, you can schedule payments to be paid on the date you select using your bank account.  To avoid mailing your payment or waiting in line at our cashier’s office, select the electronic check option.
2. Pay by credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover with a 2.3% service fee charged by processor) on the County’s website at  www.montgomerycountymd.gov/finance or by calling 240-777-8898. 
3. Please note that we do not accept money orders.
