1.  Do you have Spanish speaking therapists?

2. Do you take private insurance?

No.  We accept clients who have Medical Assistance, or no insurance.

3.  How long is the waitlist?

It varies, but usually around four weeks.  We will give the names of other providers near your home that may be able to see you sooner.

4.  Do you have help for youth who use drugs and alcohol?

We work with youth who have both substance abuse and mental health problems.  We will refer you to the Screening and Assessment Services for Children and Adolescents (SASCA) for a screening to determine what level of substance abuse treatment your child will need.

5. Where do you have offices?

We have offices in Silver Spring and Rockville.

6. Can we apply for Medical Assistance at your clinic?

No.  We will refer to income supports to apply for Medical Assistance.  If you need assistance we can help you fill out the application.

7.  How many sessions will I need?

It varies depending on the problem, the type of treatment needed and how regularly you come for therapy.

8. Do we have help for medication?

Yes, if you are a client and need medication we can refer to Med Bank and they will determine if you are eligible.

9.  How does your sliding scale work?

You need to bring in proof of income such as latest tax return, or, three pays stubs from your employment. Your fee is assessed based on the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s sliding scale and takes into consideration income and how many dependents you have.
