Behavioral Health Crisis Stabilization Center

The Behavioral Health Crisis Stabilization Center (BHCSC) provides around the clock support for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crisis.

The BHCSC at Piccard is a comfort-focused, open setting with five adult recliners and five youth beds, with stays up to 23 hours.  Adults and youth are supported in separate spaces to provide age-appropriate care and privacy, and the center also includes quiet rooms for calming and de-escalation. The BHCSC accepts both voluntary and involuntary individuals when appropriate, ensuring safety and stabilization for all clients.
