Become a Volunteer

As a Trauma Service volunteer, you can:

  • provide immediate 24-hour outreach, crisis counseling, information, advocacy, and companion services at Montgomery County hospitals
  • provide information, advocacy, accompaniment, and support through the criminal justice process at the Rockville or Silver Spring District Court and Rockville Circuit Court.
  • provide assistance to office support in several capacities including assisting with intakes and projects at the Trauma Services Office.

Program Office: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Counseling Services: By appointment only; evening hours available.
After-hours and Weekends: Telephone and/or walk-in: 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
