Professional Development
Developing knowledge and skills that expand and enhance understanding.
An effective early childhood workforce is core to quality programming. To meet the diverse needs of our community, we offer free or low-cost training opportunities to advance your skills and fulfill learning designed to move you beyond licensing. Our highly skilled trainers deliver MSDE approved Core of Knowledge classes in English, Spanish, in-person, virtual, and hybrid. Staff provide guidance and counseling as individuals navigate their career pathway, which may include pursuing milestones such as the Maryland Child Care Credential, CDA, and higher education. Financial supports are available to help you achieve these pledges of quality.
