Navigation
Community Action’s highly-trained team of navigators assist residents in accessing numerous services. Navigators are available at TESS and at other public agencies and private nonprofit organizations throughout the County.
Free Tax Preparation
Offered in collaboration with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, the VITA program will resume free tax preparation at the TESS Community Action Center on Tuesdays during the tax season (January 2024 through April 2024). Please check the CASHBACK website for the most up-to-date information about VITA services.
Free Legal Advice
The Montgomery County Bar Foundation's Pro Bono Program hosts free legal clinics at TESS on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Registration is available 6 - 6:30 pm. Please call 301-424-7651 for more information. Information in English and Spanish.
Senior Socials
TESS hosts special programs and events, including guest speakers and outings, for seniors in the community in the spring and summer. Please call 240-773-8258 to learn more.
