How to Apply

Call 240-777-1760 for an appointment for STI testing.  Some walk-in hours available as well.
Walk-in testing is available for HIV Rapid Testing.  See Hours and Locations below for information. 

Documents To Bring

Bring a picture ID and proof of your current Montgomery County address, such as driver's license, Maryland ID, passport, official mail, lease or a recent bill with your name and address.  If you have Maryland Medicaid, please bring your insurance card and a picture ID.

Eligibility Requirements

  • STI testing:  Montgomery County resident
  • Confidential Rapid HIV Testing: available to anyone

Fees and Payments

STI clinic charges are based on services provided.  Patients under age 21 are not charged a fee.  Maryland Medicaid insurance plans are accepted.  There is not charge for HIV Rapid Testing.

1. What screening tests will I receive?
STI screening incudes the following tests:
Hepatitis B
Herpes culture only

2. What is the fee for testing services?
A $60 fee will be collected for screening visits.  The fee will include any treatment(s) associated with the visit. 

3.Do you accept any heath insurance plans?
We accept Maryland Medicaid insurance plans.  You must bring your insurance card and a picutre ID.

4. When can I get my test results?

Results for STI testing are available two weeks after testing.
You will receive a phone call for any abnormal test results.  Results are available by phone--call 240-777-1760 Monday through Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.
