The PIT is an annual survey of homeless persons in Montgomery County who are residing in sheltered and unsheltered environments. Volunteers will be going out late evening (7:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.) on the night of Wednesday, January 27 to designed locations and the morning of Thursday, January 28 at 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for the Gaithersburg/Germantown/Damascus areas to survey homeless persons.
The information provides the County Executive, County Council and Federal Government with a census count of the number of homeless persons with and without children.
We need help completing the PIT survey. Volunteers will be going out late evening
