As a HIPAA covered entity, we take our compliance efforts very seriously. We have developed a MANDATORY HIPAA Training that the entire workforce must complete including County merit staff (both represented and unrepresented), volunteers, trainees, and other persons whose conduct is under our direct control, whether or not they are paid by the Department of Health and Human Services. You must complete this training prior to getting access to the Enterprise Integrated Case Management System (eICM) and NextGen-Electronic Health Records (EHR).
There are two steps to completing the Comprehensive HIPAA Training Program.
- Comprehensive HIPAA Training – please scroll down to access the HIPAA Training Videos.
- Comprehensive HIPAA Assessment – After viewing all of the videos, you must complete the assessment which is how we will verify that you have completed your mandatory training. Click here to access the assessment.
