Diana Rubin is a Speechwriter and Communications Advisor to the President of AARP Foundation, the charitable affiliate of AARP, where she writes speeches, op-eds, internal communications and manages the President’s social media posts. AARP Foundation works to end senior poverty by helping vulnerable older adults build economic opportunity and social connection. Prior to her work at AARP Foundation, Diana was a senior legislative assistant in the U.S. Senate on foreign policy, human rights, defense and trade issues. Other professional experience includes stints at a public affairs and advertising firm and running a legislative coalition fighting for stronger anti-tobacco laws. She has a J.D. from Boston University Law School and a B.A., Magna cum laude, from Harvard College.
