COVID-19 Vaccine

Content verified June 30, 2022

Montgomery County began vaccinating children ages 6 months to 5 years old on Wednesday, June 22.  Limited appointments are posted on www.GoVaxMoCo.com.  We urge parents to check with their pediatrician for vaccine availability as the majority of vaccine received in Montgomerty County is delivered to the private sector (physicians and pharmacies).  Initial demand will outpace supply but vaccine delivery will continue in the coming weeks, both to private providers and for County-operated clinics.  The appointment platform is the State's PrepMod system. County-operated clinics will offer one type of vaccine at each clinic.  When making an appointment, confirm that the type of vaccine you want is offered at the clinic you are making an appointment for.  If you get an error message when making an appointment, it is possible that appointments are full.  We will continue to add appointments at 3 p.m. as supply is available and will announce new appointments on social media as well.  Follow us at Twitter @MoCoDHHS and on Facebook at facebook.com/mocdhhs for updates as they are available.

At County-run clinics: appointments recommended; drop-ins welcome.
