Dale Drive Pedestrian Improvements Facility Planning

The project provides for the Facility Planning study to develop preliminary design (35% level of completion) of pedestrian facilities for the 1-mile section along Dale Drive, from Georgia Avenue (MD 97) to Colesville Road (US29).

Montgomery County Planning Board Briefing May 9, 2019

The Dale Drive Pedestrian Facility Improvement Project — Facility Planning Study will evaluate long-term pedestrian facility improvements on Dale Drive, such as concrete sidewalk, shared use path, and various traffic safety measures. This phase of the project will result in the development of the preliminary (35%) design. There is no funding scheduled for final design and construction at this time.

On Thursday, May 9, 2019, the Montgomery County Planning Board will be briefed on the current status of the project and presented the proposed alternatives.
