Crime Solvers is a program designed to enlist the aid of the community in helping the Montgomery County Police solve crimes. When a person calls, texts, or submits a tip via the internet, this information is passed on to the law enforcement agency with primary jurisdiction. If this information leads to an arrest and/or indictment, the caller is entitled to a reward of up to $10,000. Crime Solvers of Montgomery County celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2013.

“Crime Solvers keeps our community safer. The work done by the members of our community who volunteer their time to be on our Board is making a difference. Bad guys are being arrested, and crime victims are getting justice. The Montgomery County Police Department owes a real debt of gratitude to the Crime Solvers program.” – Chief Manger
